Sir Alfred Gilbert.
I became mesmerised by his work after I stumbled across him whilst in the library at Uni. My favourite is St Michael, I love the whole idea of it.

Life On Other PlanetsThe science fiction magazine Fantastic Adventures shows us a glimpse of life on other planets from their 1939-1940 issues. While the alien designs are quite strange, they are meant to illustrate the different conditions on each planet, like gravity and atmosphere. All the planets besides Earth are included, even Pluto, plus Io, one of Jupiter’s moons.

The Chained Library of Zutphen
I took these pictures during a visit to the 16th-century chained library of Zutphen, in the east of the Netherlands. It is one of three such libraries still in existence in Europe. Nothing much has changed here for 550 years.
This is great, but it just serves to remind me of the fact that the last time I googled “Why does every album title by Pretty Lights contain exactly seven syllables and rhyme with the other ones” came up with nothing.
